Eric Little
Musical Director
Mark Bautista
Vocal & Movement Coach
Mark Bautista is a Berlin-based voice pedagogue, somatic-movement coach, choreographer, and choral conductor with over a decade of experience working with young singers and performing artists.
Trained initially as a professional singer, actor, and dancer, Mark's trajectory shifted when an accident left him in a coma for several weeks and required the painstaking work of relearning how to use his voice. That experience opened a deep curiosity about the relationship between body, mind, and voice, which became the quiet foundation of everything he now teaches.
Mark brings a genuinely integrated, practical, and whole-artist perspective to his coaching. His work draws on Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method, Body-Mind-Centering, and Nervous System Regulation practices. This is a somatic lineage he is weaving into a coherent embodiment methodology through his research in somatic voice pedagogy at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. This practice as research forms the foundation of Resonant Body, his methodology for voice and movement work with performing artists.
Originally from the United States (Alaska), Mark has built an active teaching, coaching, and choreographic practice in Berlin, working with young performers at both pre-professional and professional levels, as well as various choral ensembles. He also teaches classroom music and choir at Freie Waldorfschule Berlin Mitte.
At Stage Lab Berlin, Mark brings his signature blend of vocal technique, somatic practice, and choreographic vision to help students grow into confident, grounded, and fully expressive performing artists.
